Precision Ag Hardware Sales- Bath, SD

Agtegra Cooperative is currently hiring for a Precision Ag Hardware Sales position at our Bath, SD Innovation Center. 

Position Summary:

This position will grow and develop and Precision Technology sales and services for the Innovation Center of Agtegra Cooperative. The primary responsibilities for the Precision outside sales is to prospect, qualify and gain new accounts in order to f grow the precision technology business to desired levels.

Job Duties:

• Increase Sales of Precision technology, including systems and service capabilities.
• Identify and develop new customers.
• Must maintain a good working relationship with Precision technicians, service staff, bookkeeping, management, and all aspects of the customers. 
• Collaborate with Precision techs, Service Coordinator and Management to meet customer expectations; including joint visit, prompt quoting, detailed proposals and reports, and negotiations while meeting departmental objectives and customer service expectations.
• Utilize the 5 stages of sales process methodology to prospect, qualify, propose product/service plan, facilitate positive decisions, gain new accounts, and expand current accounts within a specific territory.
• Maintain and utilize sales reports, quoting, sales reports, driver logs, etc.
• Recognize a need to promote the innovation Center/Precision Ag services products and solutions to current and new customers.
• Attend and participate in trade shows as needed and directed by management
• Advises Innovation Center Operations Manager of all customer issues and concerns.
• Communicates progress/status of all projects in facility to Service Coordinator and Management.
• Understands and follows all company safety policies and company rules and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

This position required a two-year degree in Ag Business or equivalent work experience. High level of mechanical knowledge and experience is required, and an Agriculture Equipment background is preferred.
