Temporary Utility Positions

Otter Tail Power has three temporary, 22-week Utility positions open at the Hoot Lake Plant in Fergus Falls, MN.

The applicant must have a high school education or its equivalent, must be physically fit and be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator. Must be able to manage confined spaces and be able to work in extreme heat and cold, indoors or outdoors under difficult conditions.

Job duties include: carrying tools and materials, industrial janitorial duties, washing, cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, and ground maintenance. May use hand tools as required to perform duties. Performs any other tasks as assigned. After training, employee will work independently in various plant operation roles. Must perform duties consistent with all Company safety rules and use personal protective equipment as required.
