Activities Aide - Full Time with Benefits!

We are looking for YOU to join our team at Renville Health Services!

Activities Aide, Full-time, evening shift, 11am - 7pm, including every other weekend and every other Holiday

Activity Aides assist the Activity Director in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language while conducting company business.
• Must be able to solve diverse procedural problems and plans.
• Must be able to communicate, coordinate, and facilitate with other departments, families, and the general public.
• Must respect the residents' personal and property rights.
• Must be able to relate to and work with the disabled and elderly individuals within the facility who may at times be ill, confused, uncooperative, emotionally upset, or hostile.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
• Must be able to request and/or accept direction/education as needed to develop new skills
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Befriend residents to encourage their self-esteem by visiting and conversing with them on a regular basis.
