Part time, night shift (1030pm - 7am) Care Attendant position at our new Crystal Brook facility!

Summary: Responsible for providing high quality personal care and ancillary services (housekeeping, dietary, activities) to residents in assisted living/housing environment. Care services will be provided to residents that maintain their physical and emotional well-being while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.

Scope: Will also take work direction from the Director of Clinical Care and the RN's and LPN's. The Care Attendant has frequent contact and communicates with staff, residents, families members and visitors. No positions report to the Care Attendant.

Reports To: LPN/RN on duty for assigned shift

Requirements: Requires exceptional customer services skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively with the elderly. Experience providing person-directed care in long-term care, home care or assisted living settings is preferred. A Minnesota nursing assistant certification is preferred, and may be required for some levels of assisted living. Critical thinking, interpersonal effectiveness and teamwork skills are required. Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study.
