Parttime,evening shift (11am-630pm) Homemaker position at our new Crystal Brook facility!
Scope: Has frequent contact and communicates with staff, residents, family members and visitors.
Summary: Responsible for performing a combination of duties including resident care, dining services, housekeeping, laundry, and life enhancement. Duties are resident directed and provided primarily in the assisted living households and assisted living units. Work direction will also be provided by the Life Enhancement Coordinator, Director of Clinical Care, Culinary Director and Lead Homemaker.
Reports to: Lead Homemaker
Requirements: Requires exceptional customer services skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively with the elderly. Experience working in healthcare preferred, ideally in a long-term care, home care or assisted living setting. Critical thinking, interpersonal effectiveness and teamwork skills are required. Must have an ability to work with changing priorities, work independently and as a member of a team. Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study.
