Plant Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:
This Responsible for receiving, cleaning, and toting product, while ensuring the day-to-day production needs are met with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loading / Unloading trucks and railcars
• Set up and administer daily production runs for each product being received/cleaned
• Coordinate with Quality Team for sample retention and documentation
• Bag and tote product
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper working order
• Maintain the appearance of the facility including sanitation responsibilities as assigned
• Lift and move product
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
• A commitment to quality & willingness to learn

Ability to:

• lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• stand for extended periods of time
• work in dust
• open traps on trailers\trucks
• work in confined spaces
• work at significant heights
