JOB SUMMARY

Provides corporate level, system-wide expertise in the development, implementation and management of communication plans and strategies that support the organization's strategic goals, initiatives and priorities and internal and external communication programs. Assures the philosophy, goals and objectives for all communication are consistent with Sanford's brand and advancing the strategic plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field; MBA or master's degree in communications or related field preferred. Must have at least 3 years relevant communication/writing experience, preferably in a large, complex corporate setting. Very strong writing skills, an understanding of technology, and how to use technology effectively in communicating with employees is essential. Must be a collaborator and proactive in establishing working relationships and partnerships across the organization. Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated passion for delivering the best product.
