Job Details

  • The primary responsibility of the residential and commercial Installer is the installation of residential and commercial garage doors, garage door openers, and keyless entry systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Gather appropriate materials, parts and tools for each job site
  • Install garage doors and associated system components as indicated on work orders
  • Inspect work site; ensuring proper adjustments, installation and clearances
  • Ensure job site is safe and all materials are out of the way upon completion
  • Accurately record all work order site information and installation comments including issues
  • Discuss operation and warranties with customers
  • Ensure job site is cleared and safe upon completion
  • Record all material used

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • 1 year previous experience installing garage doors
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or GED
