Home Health Aide - Night Shift (10:30pm-7am), Every/Other Weekend

Hector, MN

Job Description

The primary purpose of your job position is to work as part of the Home Health team to ensure quality and safe delivery of home care services. The Home Health Aide/Homemaker works under the direction of a licensed nurse to perform services for the tenant as necessary to maintain his/her personal comfort.

Qualifications:

• Perform personal care activities.

• Assist tenants with ambulation, transfers and exercises as ordered.

• Perform household services essential to health care at home.

• Administer medications and treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Report changes in the tenant's condition and needs to the licensed nurse.

• Complete the appropriate records to document cares given and pertinent observations.

• Respond to tenant requests promptly.

• Maintain tenant confidentiality; treat tenants and family with respect.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

Have successfully completed a 75-hour training course and competency evaluation; or have successfully completed an approved competency evaluation.
