Position Summary: This is a sales position responsible for promoting DakTech’s products and for building relationships with new and existing customers. Our Mission is to provide our customers the best products while achieving organizational sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities as a Sales Representative; you will call and meet with small to medium sized businesses and school districts throughout a personalized territory.

  • Identify, develop, and close new business.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and ensure account revenue potential is maximized.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and record the sales pipeline and revenue projections along with account and contact information
  • Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competition.
  • Provide training and skill development to new and existing sales reps as needed.
  • Participation in trade shows as needed.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Talent

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a sales strategy and meet and exceed sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and close business via the phone at C-level
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term account relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Occasional overnight and daily travel
  • Must meet or exceed annual sales goals tracked quarterly
  • To maintain annual salary, a minimum of 60 discovery calls per week is recommended.
  • Discovery calls - Each of our salespeople is responsible for making 60 minimum discovery calls weekly.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • 3-5 years previous sales experience.
  • Previous computer hardware experience.
