Palletizer

The primary responsibility of the Elkhorn River Farms Palletizer is to operate Auto Baler and palletize product.

Job Duties:

• Perform basic controls of auto-baler and functions
• Identify and mark materials by following instructions
• Ability to move product from auto baler or box line palletizing in the correct sequence and count
• Maintain good hand and eye coordination
• Ability to make changes when production notifies you
• Perform general cleaning of machinery, building and work area
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Evaluate effectiveness of processes and procedures and develop improvements as needed
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Elkhorn River Farms
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds
• Great attendance and work ethic
• Ability to work long and flexible hours and tolerate various temperature conditions
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
