Job Details

OVERVIEW:

The ATO build position is responsible for the assembly and the assembly process by which all product is built. This includes but is not limited to understanding the quality and process for all product. It also involves the upkeep and maintenance of the area that encompasses the entire area. They also coordinate and work closely with the upcoming shift to determine any needs that may arise regarding changeover. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to understand and comprehend all dowel patterns.
2. Has the ability or does understand the staging pattern of all products to be assembled.
3. Understanding the quality process.
6. Ability to understand the Jonti-Craft computer system as well as look up all BOM’s if necessary.
7. Ability to communicate with QA in the case a need arises to review a part or quality issue.
8. Has a keen understanding of WC FIN product.
9. Complete understanding of all quality guidelines.
10. Understands C-Orders and is process oriented.
11. Extensive understanding of scrap and the ability to conserve scrap and scrap pile locations

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete working understanding of status of work load and product flow

SPECIAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to push or pull from 50-150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
2. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
3. Keen awareness of all safety needs and requirements.
4. Full understanding of all gluing procedures.
5. Excellent understanding of measurements in particular the metric system.
6. Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language for safety purposes in an understandable manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High School education preferred but not necessary.
2. Good knowledge of our support system such as fourth shift.
