For additional information about our company visit our website at www.fisherind.com. We have an immediate need for a Lead Machinist to work for General Steel and Supply Company in Dickinson, ND.

POSITION SCOPE

The Lead Machinist will supervise other Machinists and perform various duties in preparing parts for assembly of equipment, including operating various machining equipment. This is an hourly position that will report to the Shop Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform various machining and fabrication duties
• Verify accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication
• Run CNC mill and CNC turning lath
• Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required
• Other duties as assigned

BACKGROUND

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of cutting and welding
• Able to operate various machining tools efficiently and effectively
