HVAC Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Service Department, including the estimating, pricing, training, scheduling, and installation/completion of the Service Departments's projects and services in the highest quality and most effective manner possible.

Applicants for this position must have strong communication skills, effective time management skills, and be extremely efficient while working independently.  Many important tasks that are completed by the Service Manager are highly time-sensitive, so applicants will need to possess strong self-motivation and prioritizing abilities.

Responsibilities:

*Customer account managment

*Pursure maintenance and preventative maintenance agreement opportunities with new and existing customers

*Review all service orders generated after office personnel has priced them

 *Follow up on contract jobs after the warranty period to obtain future service work

*Coordinate and promote sales with all other departments of the company in order to maximize business

*Bid service work

*Oversee daily service operations (i.e. customer requests, complaints,etc)

*Review work order sales by invoice detail

*Establish and monitor goals of each technician

*Monitor overhead accounts of the Service Department

*Supervise performance of all service technicians

*Dispatch Service Technicians

*Review training courses for Technicians

*Assist technicians with field problems, which may require trips to job sites and/or discussions with the Owner's representative

*Review billings and payments on a regular basis; budget and overhead

*Review hourly service rates and materials/equipment rates

Qualifications:

*Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC industry necessary
