Monday Thru Friday-Day Shift. Will Train.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Be able to set up mill for different production runs by changing equipment set ups as necessary in a timely manner.
* Verify and insure that products are being produced to customer standards.
* Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, amounts and flow of product to maximize the quality of products produced and the efficiency of the department.
* Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions.
* Take and test needed product samples during production.
* Verify all paperwork for your shift is being completed.
* Ensure shift change discussions are addressing areas for other shifts to support production.
* Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment for standard operation following preventative maintenance guidelines and using approved tools.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Ensure raw products are being put into appropriate bins while ensuring no contamination.
* Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required. Make sure all team members are getting their breaks in good rotational practices.
* Accurately prepares and maintains all area paperwork. Computer and hand written formats.
* Ensure all new employees are being trained in all aspects of their duties.
* Unload and load trucks in different areas of the facility.
* Keep team members on task to optimize time efficiencies.
* Maintain good communication with quality, inventory, maintenance, and plant manager to ensure all aspects of our policies and procedures are being met and also be involved in discussions that relate to improving production efficiencies of the plant.
All other duties as assigned including but not limited to: loading/unloading trucks throughout different areas of the facility, drying different raw commodities as needed.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience:
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Candidate must possess basic math skills. Be detailed orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Approximately; 95% of work is performed standing. Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs to 50 lbs and be able to climb and descend staircases and ladders multiple times per hour.
