The University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF), a member of the University of Wisconsin System, is located on the eastern edge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area in scenic west central Wisconsin. Year-round arts, cultural, and recreational activities and events are easily accessible from River Falls. The 6,100 undergraduate and
graduate students at UWRF pursue degrees in four colleges: Education and Professional Studies; Arts and Sciences; Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; and Business and Economics.

Job Duties: This is a full-time position that reports to and provides primary administrative support to the Associate Provost/Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies (AVC) in the areas of organization, communication (including website design and maintenance), budget and non- budget record keeping and reconciliation, and routine clerical needs that directly support the Office of the AVC and the following areas: Faculty Development, Graduate Studies, Institutional Research, and Program Review (i.e. Academic Program Audit and Review, Assessment, and Program Prioritization). The position also requires coordination with the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for specific activities.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
*A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
*Ability to serve as an effective first point of contact for the Associate Vice Chancellor's Office
*Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
*Ability to budget, track spending, and make purchases responsibly
*Ability to maintain strict office confidentiality and the confidentiality of office-related correspondence and other information
*Ability to process telephone, email requests and office traffic in a timely and efficient manner
*Ability to supervise student workers
*Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team

Preferred:
*Experience using education-based software, such as eSIS and WISDM
*Experience creating, managing, and updating webpages
*Ability to design, help maintain, and access databases
