Full Time, Exempt, Monday – Friday

This position is responsible for the ongoing development and administration of PrimeWest Health’s Compliance program. This includes maintaining all compliance regulatory reporting; assisting with investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) and/or noncompliance; developing policies and procedures; developing and deploying training and education; conducting auditing and monitoring activities; and helping develop breach assessments of reported unauthorized disclosures or uses of protected health information (PHI). 

Educational Requirements and Required Qualifications
At minimum, 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in health care compliance, a compliance audit program, and/or medical record auditing with a health plan or other health care entity, regulatory agency, or government program. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, additional equivalent experience in a compliance-related function will be considered in lieu of a degree. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to a diverse spectrum of individuals
Working knowledge of all laws, regulations, and rules applicable to health care compliance
Demonstrated knowledge of, and proficiency in, Word, Excel, and Outlook required 
Strong project management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively with a variety of people both within and outside of the organization. 
Self-directed and able to work independently
Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment
Proven analytical and resourceful problem-solving ability
Ability to serve as a role model for compliant behavior consistent with the mission, vision, and values of PrimeWest Health
Ability to sit at a desk or computer station most of the time. Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry such articles as file folders and small boxes up to 10 pounds. Some travel required.
