Amazon web services web developer (remote)

• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling company's product solutions
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Work with product owners and contribute web design layouts to match visual design intent
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and have chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products
• Work with company owners and design/development team to understand end-user requirements and use cases, then translate that into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.

Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building highly scalable, secure, robust applications; startup experience is desired
• Extensive experience in Javascript, AngularJS, ReactJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, and single-page web apps
• Comfortable with back-end architecture and back-end development
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is preferred
• Solid understanding of full development life cycle and experience testing and debugging
• Have engineering chops? We think that's great too
• Experience managing databases with user data (using encryption to secure data)
• Experience monitoring social community user-generated content (to filter/prevent inappropriate content)
