POSITION SCOPE
The Crushing Field Engineer will provide technical and administrative support to the Fisher Sand & Gravel crushing department to meet company objectives for environmental compliance, quality control and budget expectations. This position will report directly to the Southwest Area Manager, and is an exempt, salaried position with supervisory responsibilities. Occasional overnight travel will be required depending on department needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Selects, develops, trains, organizes, and supervises employees including Foremen, Equipment Operators and Quality Control Technicians to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
- Oversees Material Lease and Well/Water Agreements.
- Maintains logs and tracking for Commercial Plant/Project inventories, SWA quantities for royalty payment and billing, and maintenance on crushing equipment.
- Facilitates the process locating aggregate sources and obtaining permits.
- Assists with creating estimates for future bids and provides quotes for materials and services.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and oversees environmental compliance for the department.
- Reviews production costs, product quality, and modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitability.
- Attends all meetings and training sessions as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND
- 1-2 years of Supervising preferred
- Construction and/or aggregate experience preferred
