Who We're Looking For:

Are you looking for hands-on development and an opportunity to advanceyour skills in a mechanical field? If so, do your best work with Acme Equipment- we are currently hiring for both experienced and entry-level ServiceTechnicians!

What You'll TakeOwnership Of:
  • Troubleshooting andrepairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, as well as Gas and DieselEngines
  • Performing service callson the road and communicate with customers about the status and location ofrepairs needed
  • Cleaning up tools andmesses after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor work stations clean andclear from obstructions, as well as maintaining clean and working servicetrucks
  • Maintaining a safe andsecure work environment by adhering to safety standards, striving to improvesafety standards, and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Clearly communicatingwith the Service Supervisor, as well as the Parts department to ensure partsare ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Accurate record keepingincluding parts ordered and hours worked on equipment
  • Performing related tasksas assigned


Equipment most commonlyworked on by Service Technicians include boom lifts, scissor lifts, industrialforklifts, variable reach forklifts, tractors, skid steers, light towers, aircompressors, generators, excavators, and mowers.

This individual must bewilling to cross train in other repair areas as well, as they may be asked towork on anything that we sell at Acme.

Need-To-Haves:
  • Valid Driver's Licensewith a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Mechanicalaptitude


Skills and Experience Preferred:

  • Associate's degree or related experience in a mechanical field
  • Previous experienceworking with DC Voltage controls, Hydraulics, Gas and Diesel Engines
  • Excellent Computer &Customer Service Skills
  • Experience working onlarge equipment
