Job Details
We're Hiring a Dock Worker - 1st Shift
Qualified candidates will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is responsible for insuring shipment/receiving counts are accurate and complete. Other responsibilities include pulling and labeling boxes, processing shipping/receiving paperwork, inventory control, and loading and unloading trucks. Must be able to organize and manage multiple products simultaneously for shipment or issuing to the floor while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Strong computer skills are a must. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive a straight truck between warehouse locations. No CDL required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Fork lift driving experience is a plus.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, good communication skills, a strong commitment to teamwork, customer service, and learning new skills. Previous production experience with the ability to read prints and production work orders as well as experience with a tape measure and other inspection tools would be a plus. Candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility and be willing to change assignments as needed in a fast paced work environment.
