Job Details

Specific Duties Include: 

 


• Rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform job duties including planning audits, conducting testing, neatly and accurately documenting results, drawing accurate conclusions, communicating results verbally and in reports. 
• Identify improper accounting or documentation, researches issues, and makes recommendations for improvement. 
• Work with the external auditors to support the external auditing function. 
• Participate in and lead audit projects. Review audit work papers/ reports and provide effective feedback to help train audit staff. 
• Participate in fraud investigations including data analysis and investigative work. 
• Exemplify team work and camaraderie; supports growth and development of internal audit team. 
• Learn to build strong and professional working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. 
• Protect and does not share sensitive information. 
• Handle all aspects of work with integrity and supports an ethical work environment. 
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. 
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. 
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set. 
• Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts. 
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. 
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. 

 

Job Requirements:

 


• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or equivalent work experience. 
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the audit field or in a related area. 
• Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and problem solving skills required. 
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills required. 
• Working knowledge or experience in internal controls, Internal Auditing Standards & GAAP. 
• Motivated self-starter with ability to carry out assigned projects to completion with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to travel up to 25%. 
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
