Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification: $60,000, full-time, benefited, exempt
Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (premiums paid for by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave.  Optional benefits available: supplemental life, dental, vision, long term care insurance, flexible spending account, supplemental retirement plans.  
Work Schedule:   Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Travel is required.

The mission of the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines (CNPD) is to prepare future leaders, to advance human well-being and improve quality of life for diverse populations, with an emphasis on rural communities in North Dakota, the region and beyond, through the provision of high-quality innovative inter-professional education, research and service. The CNPD is comprised of three departments: Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Social Work.
 
This position is grant funded for four years. The Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) Project Manager position will be located at the offices of the MHTTC and be responsible for coordination and management of day-to-day operations of the MHTTC. The MHTTC is a collaborative model of mental health science that increases access to specialty treatment in rural and underserved areas by providing front-line providers and health care teams with the training and technical assistance they need to empower them through evidence based practice to better manage care with complex conditions.
 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

·         Collaborate with lead program team in the development, implementation, and management of MHTTC project objectives and short and long-range plans to ensure deliverables.

 

·         Collaborate with lead program team members on educational curriculum/materials.

 

·         Coordinate the development and preparation of marketing and promotional materials.

 

·         Oversee program initiatives and the day-to-day project management working with Region 8.

 

·         Create and implement quality improvement strategies.

 

·         Arrange & participate in team meetings, including logistical arrangements, drafting agendas, and recording minutes.

 

·         Serve as the point of contact with University of Nevada-Reno.

 

·         Stay current with MHTTC activities and share, as appropriate, with lead program team and others.

 

·         Write and submit required project reports.

 

·         Present and/or exhibit at workshops, conferences.

 

·         Organize virtual training.

·         Experience participating in large and small group meetings, in person and by video-conferencing.

 

·         Skills and ability using the internet and search engines.

 

·         Experience, skills, ability in organizing and tracking programmatic activities.

 

·         Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

 

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

 

·         Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to be self-directed.

 

·         High level of attention-to-detail and the ability to generate timely work products.

 

·         Ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

 

·         Ability to travel to MHTTC events/meetings.
Must possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills; capacity to work with inter-professional team
 

 

 

 

The grant will support a collaboration between Region 8 Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) at the University of North Dakota called the Mountain Plains MHTTC -- serving six states in the Mountain Plains (CO, MT, ND, SD, WY, UT).

Minimum Requirements:

 

·         Master’s degree in education, health related field, communications, or similar.

 

·         Experience working with computers and technology supporting distance learning/meetings using video- conferencing such as Zoom, WebEx or similar. Strong computer aptitude.  Ability to troubleshoot IT issues.

 

·         Skills and experience writing programmatic reports. Applicant may be asked to submit two samples that demonstrate report-writing skills as part of application materials.

 

·         Must have skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel.·       

 

·         Prior project management experience.

 

·         Successful completion of criminal history background check.
