JOB SUMMARY

Manages clinical aspects for Sanford World Clinic sites. Assesses existing healthcare and healthcare challenges in overseas markets, as well as external domestic markets. Collaborates with and informs leadership of progress on strategic initiatives and any barriers to implementation. Interprets data while anticipating trends, opportunities and vulnerabilities. Utilizes a variety of data mining tools, techniques and applications. Documents plans with clear objectives, action steps, accountabilities, resource requirements and timelines. Clearly communicates the importance of always achieving results through actions that demonstrate integrity and building customer and team trust. Participates in development/execution of clinical programs, policy, procedure and protocol development; ensuring system integration and adherence. Standardizes clinical care to optimize health outcomes, quality and patient safety. Manages monitoring and evaluation activities, Performance improvement, quality metrics and healthcare outcomes. Provides clinical expertise and leadership for development and integration of clinical standards, EMR, telehealth, mobile health and other clinical technologies used in patient care. Leads patient safety initiatives and evaluates patient/staff risk events. Utilizes data in decision making. Provides on-site and remote clinical administrative leadership, clinical and technical expertise to clinical and practice operations. Works with in-country corporate leadership teams and country/state stakeholders to move clinical initiatives forward. Assesses existing clinic policies/procedures and aligns them with Sanford vision and practices. Contributes to clinical development of new programs. Assures scope of practice is followed. Develops and Oversees Implementation and effectiveness of clinical education platforms. Proactively manages risk, identifies and executes solutions. Adopts a multicultural perspective and practices cultural humility in cross-cultural work. Advises others on tailoring communication to adapt to others' cultures and perspectives. Manages cross-cultural team of both domestic and international resources. Creates shared meaning, purpose, and goals among cross-cultural teams. Fosters a work environment of respect, professionalism, accountability and teamwork. Manages, coaches and motivates clinical staff.Develops clinical systems to support budget. Provides direct supervision to United States-Sanford World Clinics (US-SWC) Program Specialist(s). Cultivates and manages internal and external relationships that are imperative to the success of Sanford World Clinics. Travel to international and domestic clinic sites required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Multiple service line experience and coordinator/supervisor experience preferred.
Collects statistical information to be used in the evaluation of clinical and financial performance. Participates in the development of clinical policies and practices. Develops control and monitoring mechanisms for clinical policies adherence. Measures organizational performance against established standards; recommends process improvements. Recognizes and adapts to differences in background, culture, language and work style, when working with others. Utilizes a variety of data mining tools, techniques and applications. Helps create an environment where colleagues feel a sense of purpose, engagement, belonging and commitment. Leverages diversity by demonstrating respect for differing values, perspectives, personalities and working styles of all individuals. Creates a team environment of accountability and commitment for reaching project goals. Determines individual and team competency requirements, vulnerabilities, and learning needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with multistate license privileges. Must conform to licensing standards of the state(s) in which work is performed. Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare-related field is required. Graduation from a National League for Nursing (NLN) or American Associate of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) accredited nursing program is preferred.
