Job Summary

A clinically competent, licensed practical nurse who provides care to a group of patients/residents under general supervision/delegation of a registered nurse according to established policies, procedures, protocols and standards of practice and care. Effectively interacts with patients/residents, families, responsible party, and all health team members.

Qualifications Required

• Current state licensure as a Practical Nurse, which must be in good standing
• CPR certified
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

Qualifications Preferred 

• Clinical experience preferred

Cognitive or Mental Requirements of the Job

• Is required to analyze data, remember and recall multiple policies and procedures. Must have organizational skills, ability to revise and implement the plan of care and observe, record and report on patient/resident status. Must be able to demonstrate multiple priorities and the ability to direct and evaluate the activities of others.
