Summary

Occupational Therapist (OT) Position Available

Seminary Home in Red Wing, MN is currently looking for an On Call Occupational Therapist (OT). 

Responsibilities:
-Evaluates and treats patients
-Documents progress toward identified objectives
-Conducts or assists in patient screenings
-Develops and implements new program/techniques to enhance services
-Adheres to core values of Benedictine Health systems, applicable principles and practices of therapy and state regulations
-Complies with regulatory standards of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the
Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards

Settings may include:  skilled nursing facility, sub-acute care, outpatient care, home health, and other contracted facilities.

Qualifications

-Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
-Current state licensure, in good standing, commensurate with degree
-One year long term care experience preferred but not required
-Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
-Knowledge of the SMART, PPS, RAI process, Medicare, and billing systems
-Proven ability to deliver outcomes, excellent clinical skills, strong customer focus, enthusiasm,
willingness to learn and share new ideas in therapy programming  
-Excellent interpersonal skills

Skills

-Be able to read, write and communicate in English
-Must be able to react and make timely judgments and decisions based on available information
-Requires analytical/deductive reasoning/problem solving abilities
-Must have organizational skills, ability to assess, plan and implement patient care
-Must be able to establish multiple priorities within clinical setting; caseload management, scheduling assessments, and discharge planning
