St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing, MN is currently looking for a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities:

-Evaluates and treats patients

-Documents progress toward identified objectives

-Conducts or assists in patient screenings

-Develops and implements new program/techniques to enhance services

-Adheres to core values of Benedictine Health systems, applicable principles and practices of therapy and state regulations

-Complies with regulatory standards of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the Department of Health, and any other professional guidelines or standards.

Settings may include: skilled nursing facility, sub-acute care, outpatient care, home health, and other contracted facilities.

Qualifications

-Masters or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology

-Current state licensure, in good standing, commensurate with degree

-Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)

-One-year long term care experience preferred but not required

-Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

-Knowledge of the SMART, PPS, RAI process, Medicare, and billing systems

-Proven ability to deliver outcomes, excellent clinical skills, strong customer focus, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and share new ideas in therapy programming

Skills

-Be able to read, write and communicate in English.

-Must be able to react and make timely

-Requires analytical/deductive reasoning/problem solving abilities.

-Must have organizational skills, ability to assess, plan and implement patient care.

-Must be able to establish multiple priorities within clinical setting; caseload management, scheduling assessments, and discharge planning.
