Responsibilities
The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:
- Processing customer and service department orders
- Picking, packaging, and shipping of orders
- Daily involvement in the Contamination Control Program and related parts procedures
- Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the warehouse
- Delivers parts to the shop
- Recognizes difficult customer situations and determines when to get others involved
- Recognizes the proper bin sizing
- Processing emergency freight and stock orders
- Forklift Operation
- Loading & unloading of trucks
- Assembling hoses after training
- Understands the work schedule may include overtime and Saturday schedule
- Procuring outside parts for service department
- Processing returns and warranty parts
- Handling incoming and outgoing freight
- Filling batteries, testing, and warranty when needed
- Inspecting cores and determining core credit
- Executing Backorders
- Express professional business ethics & attitude
- Effective use of all communications tools
- Work within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Follow safety processes and mentor a safe culture
Qualifications
- Must be self-driven and able to think creatively
- Strong people skills
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and truck parts is required.
- Customer Service skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Positive attitude, welcomes challenges
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task is a must
- Computer knowledge and good keyboarding skills required
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and be on feet most of the day
- Good organization skills are essential
- Preference is for a person who has prior parts experience
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
