SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Responsible for coordinating the administrative and logistical details for the delivery of open enrollment and contract training classes (training formats including face to face, apprenticeship, open enrollment, and online); entering classes and logistical information into the department database and creating the necessary client and instructor contract paperwork for TrainND and Program Managers.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Appropriate associate degree in business administration, office technology, etc.
  • Three years working experience in project coordination-will accept a bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience.
  • Proficient in general office procedures and good working knowledge of computer software programs (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, e-mail and electronic calendar, etc.).
  • Customer service skills with the ability to create a positive impression of the division and college.
  • Ability to effectively time manage, multi-task and use initiative to meet deadlines.
  • Outgoing, approachable and ability to promote training.
  • Excellent interpersonal/oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate, organize and handle multiple priorities.
  • Detail oriented, able to set priorities and objectives. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • More than three years directly related experience
  • Experience within an education or event management working environment.
  • Demonstrates a high aptitude for learning and self-direction in computer systems.
  • Experience entering data into a database software. 

 

COMPENSATION: $30,000+ based on directly related experience.  May be eligible for a salary increase after six months. Paid health insurance, life insurance, retirement, employee tuition waiver, spouse/dependent tuition discount. Click here for full employee benefits.
