Scope: Work closely with clients, family members, and other home care and therapy staff. Provide work direction and delegation to the Home Care Occupational Therapist Assistants, provide clinical supervisor to COTA's as needed. No positions report to the Occupational Therapist.

Summary: Responsible for organizing, developing, and directing occupational therapy services in accordance with the standards and practice of occupational therapy, state and federal regulations, and Knute Nelson's policies and procedures. Assure that the highest degree of quality care, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to clients, patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees at all times.

Reports to: Regional Manager

Requirements: Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study. Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota. Must have a valid driver's license & use of insured personal vehicle. Must be organized and able to complete required tasks on schedule. Possess strong teamwork mentality. Capacity to grasp new theories and principles and implement them in practice. Must have computer skills and solid management of documentation processes. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to clients, family members, and fellow employees at all times. Recognize the importance of customer service, and strive each day to provide an exceptional experience for each person they serve. Know that all clients, patients, residents, families, volunteers and coworkers are all customers, and work to ensure that every interaction they have with them is positive.
