Overview:

TBEI, Inc., a Minnesota based company, encompasses four leading manufacturers of dump truck bodies, hoists, and truck and trailer equipment.  We are a dedicated and driven to be the leader in the market. We are currently hiring a variety of opportunities to support our customers' needs.

Schedule:

Monday thru Thursday from 5:45am—4:15pm with overtime as needed.  Currently this department is working 45-50 hour work weeks, Monday thru Fridays.

Job Summary:

Welders are responsible for building dump bodies, hoists, and small parts using the MIG welding method; read blue prints and wps specifications to assemble dump truck bodies and hoists made from Carbon Steel.

Advanced Welders would also be proficient in welding Stainless Steel. Expert Welders are proficient in welding CA, SS and Aluminum material. In-house training is available to help employees to advance to levels where the need is present.

Candidates are also welcomed to participate in the community education Weld Class in Lake Crystal. This class is ideal for those just learning the welding trade or for those who need to dust off their welding skills. (See our website for a link to the updated Community Ed Weld Class schedule.)

Starting pay for welders is between $16 - $21 per hour and depends on qualifications Cross training and Advancement Opportunities are determined upon skills/qualifications and job performance.

In this role, you will use a computer to view work procedures, (blue) prints, due dates, and special instructions. For most opportunities, qualified candidates need to be proficient in reading a tape measure, are comfortable learning & using an Overhead lifting device, and are able to perform basic math functions
