Job Details
The Staffing/Scheduling Associate develops schedules for patient care areas; maintains a database (ANSOS) for staffing and scheduling; serves as a consultant for Managers in developing staffing patterns; responsible for the staffing/scheduling section of orientation for nursing staff; serves as a resource person; serves the department as a Kronos auditor; receives patient census/acuity information; adjusts and allocates personnel to provide adequate coverage; responsible for informing appropriate management of problems/issues related to staffing; maintains accurate records and work schedules; responsible for understanding policies and procedures pertaining to staffing and schedules; demonstrates the ability to operate the computer system, telephone, pneumatic tube and other general office equipment, and maintains a neat, organized and safe work environment.
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital experience.
• Previous scheduling experience.
• Possesses computer skills and prior experience with scheduling software, i.e., ANSOS/One Staff.
• Previous patient care background experience.
• Possesses excellent communication and problem solving skills.
