Seasonal Production Worker

$13.50/hr shift begins 7:30AM until possibly 6PM

General Description:  Assist in various areas of whole body turkey processing
Work Performed:
¿    Tend the assembly line in varied positions which could involve the use of knives, shears and/ or various production equipment to process whole turkeys
¿    Assist in defeathering of whole turkeys and preparing them for further processing
¿    Clean, trim, slice and section whole turkeys for future processing
¿    Separate meats and byproducts appropriately
¿    Prepare turkeys  to be packaged
¿    Package whole turkeys and or other portions appropriately
¿    Box and palletize packaged product
Qualifications:
¿    Previous food processing experience a plus
¿    Ability to keep up with a moderate speed production line
¿    Manual dexterity required
¿    Willingness to learn and follow all company safety, safe food handling, USDA  and quality rules and regulations
¿    Ability to work in a standing position for periods of 2-3 hours per session
¿    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
¿    Ability to work 40+ hours per week
