Department: 45300 Trauma Program

Job Description: Provides technical support to the Trauma Program for their Quality Improvement Plan. The Trauma registrar works under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Program Medical Director. Requires excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional working relationships with individuals of various backgrounds inside and outside the organization. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with physicians, co-workers, and others.

Education Qualifications:
AA degree in Health Information Administration or equivalent in another healthcare related field

Experience working in a healthcare setting with clinical, quality, or financial systems. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry or ability to attain within five (5) years
