Homemaker
  • Part Time (28 hours/2 weeks) Shifts are 4pm-8pm every Tuesday and Thursday and every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, but not mandatory. Experience with the elderly is preferred. Institutional housekeeping experience is preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Sets tables, serves meals, and assists with cleaning the dining room.
  • Cleans tenant apartments, common areas and staff work areas to include making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, garbage removal, sweeping, mopping, washing windows and walls, etc.
  • Restocks housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and toilet tissue in public areas.
  • Sorts, washes, dries, and folds tenant's personal clothing.
  • Follows all infection control, safety rules and department and facility policies and procedures when using equipment and chemicals and reports all unsafe work areas or malfunctioning equipment to the Director of Apartments.
