Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as an Associate Project Manager may include the following:
  • Create and maintain positive customer relationships to ensure clients are receiving services that meet their business needs. Act as the liaison between all project stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, schedule, and resource allocation for a variety of NetSuite projects.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staff and team members and monitor projects to confirm billing happens according to key milestones or on a time-and-material basis. Exercise required controls and propose improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans for all aspects of the project.
  • Collaborate with the business sponsor and cross-functional teams to create and execute project plan to deliver project scope on time, on budget and with high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitors project budgets and scope, which includes tracking time entries and preparing weekly reports detailing the status of the project budget, scope, and schedule.

 

Who You Are
  • You have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
  • You have 1-3 years of experience working as a project manager or as a consultant for a cloud solution implementation.
  • You have a CAPM- PMI certification or are willing to pursue one in your first six months.
  • You have knowledge of ERP/Accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred)
  • You have the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office and using various software packages

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
