JOB GOAL: Assist the administrators and teachers in providing a safe playground environment for the students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Be responsible for the supervision and safety of the pupils in the assigned areas.
2. Report all incidents of behavior out of the ordinary to the building principal. Implement effective instructional and behavioral interventions and strategies to improve student behaviors and ensure learning outcomes.
3. Complete accident report forms for all injury situations which may need first aid or medical attention.
4. Follow the appropriate steps regarding emergency life saving procedures and accident/injury procedures.
5. Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned by the principal.
7. Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with all stakeholders, through oral, written, and technological means.
8. Attends work regularly.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This work regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, occasional pushing, pulling, lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work may require preparing and analyzing written or computer data, and observing general surroundings and activities; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. school cafeteria/playground/passageways).

SCHEDULE: Approx. 11:00AM- 1:00PM *Please Indicate on Cover Letter which buildings (elementary/secondary) you are interested in.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma
2. Experience working with school age students
