The Hills Youth and Family Services seeks youth care counselors to work with the adolescents in our corrections and mental health programs. Our youth care counselors work directly with these youth providing supervision, applying de-escalation skills effectively, managing behaviors, and handling crisis interventions. Youth care counselors also teach problem solving skills and act as a mentor guiding youth in their interactions, utilizing principles of youth empowerment and strength based intervention. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and skills for a career in law enforcement, probation, social work or education!

Education and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
