Child Care Aware Early Learning Scholarship/Transportation Program Assistant

SMOC, a non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Program Assistant at the SMOC office located in Worthington to work with the Child Care Aware Early Learning Scholarship and Transportation programs.

This position provides technical assistance to child care programs and families to assure effective implementation of Early Learning Scholarship program policies, data management, daily record keeping/computer database entries for Early Learning Scholarships. Provides assistance with implementation of transportation program requirements and policies.

Minimum requirements include a degree in Early Childhood Development, Human Services, or related field. Experience and knowledge of data management systems, proficiency with computer programs, and knowledge of child care delivery system. Bilingual skills beneficial.
This position requires a candidate with excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with a large diversity of clients including persons with limited English proficiency.
