Job Information

The technical training manager is responsible for ensuring that the technical training programs provided by Doosan Bobcat match the requirements of the channel. You will be in charge of the technical trainers and will ensure correct planning, budgeting and will create cross regional links with overseas training teams. The training manager will monitor market training tools and implement new training techniques/didactic tools when appropriate.

Role & Responsibility

Team Management:
  • Manage the service trainers + the person in charge of the workshops and machine preparation on a day to day basis

Service Training:
  • Provide specific training courses on TLS or and heavy products in French languages (limited, rather as an exception)
  • Translate field training requirements into an effective training plan and approach for internal and external (dealer) personal
  • Support the development of the parts and Service training for the Bobcat University
  • Formalize processes to allow more efficient operations and more transparency (such as training documentation library, planning of needs for next year, budget , AOP ….)

AM Training Representation to Customers:
  • Coordination for the After Sales activities taking place during the customer days

Strategic Training Projects:
  • Build specific training plan and approach for strategic product introductions (such as Tier4 engine technology)

Didactic Tools:
  • Monitor evolution of new training didactics and implement new technologies/approaches where and when appropriate

Training Material:
  • Manage with team creation of up to date training material and play coordination role with Technical publication team for planning, production and translation


Job Requirement

Education & Qualification:

Mechanics - Engineering or Equivalent

Knowledge& Skill:
  • Technical knowledge of the Doosan/Bobcat product is an advantage
  • Ability to translate needs into action plans and implementation execution
  • Change management: ability to implement methodology changes in a team
  • Open communication
  • Analytical thinker
  • Well organised
  • Fact based actioner,
  • Good follow up

Travel Standard: 25 - 50%

Position is based in Dobris, CZ

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
