Job Details

Essential Duties:
  • Responsible for loading and unloading parts onto fixtures and setting up holding fixtures in the robot cell.
  • Use work instructions, setup sheets, and work orders to select and load appropriate tooling and programs.
  • Perform maintenance including cleanup and general housekeeping.
  • Trim and drill parts using hand tools including die grinders, drills, and sanding blocks. Use tooling including drill fixtures, trim fixtures, and scribe lines to locate features.
  • Follow all safety standards/ policies.
  • Use of PPE including respirators is essential for safe operation.
  • Perform measurements using metrology equipment including calipers, height gauges, feeler gauges, pin gauges, and go/ no-go gauges.
  • Responsible for delivering clear and concise communication in a timely
  • Works to reduce scrap and NCR's (Non Conformance Reports).
  • Must be able to understand all process specifications and pertinent type design reference information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to achieve success

  • Attendance/Punctuality: Punctual, observes appropriate break and meal periods; acceptable attendance record; properly utilizes time clocks & time off request forms.
  • Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan; Commits to additional hours when necessary.
  • Computer Skills: General knowledge of computer operation.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Three to five years in a manufacturing environment. CNC or automation experience preferred. Knowledge of Cirrus Design's manufacturing processes preferred.
