Job Details

The Brainerd Dispatch, Echo Publishing has an immediate opening for a full-time, motivated self-starter who wants to join a team to sell cutting edge marketing solutions to local advertisers. These solutions include an array of print and digital options such as demographic display marketing, printing, direct mail, special interest products, and so much more! The right person will enjoy meeting new people, work hard to develop relationships with our local businesses, be willing to invest themselves in learning and embrace the changes in our exciting multi-media industry. This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who enjoys networking with area professionals and working in a fast paced, team oriented and fun work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a strong understanding of all products and how they provide value to our area businesses.
  • Service, retain, and advancing existing clients
  • Complete thorough needs analysis for every client to make a clear connection between our products and the return on investment
  • Offer input between the client and our creative department to help facilitate an effective campaign
  • Demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver customized presentations to clients
  • Meet revenue goals

Requirements:

  • Strong written, verbal and telephone skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once as well as be willing to work on new projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A basic understanding of print and online advertising products is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills and prior sales experience are required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
  • Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
