Economic Development Specialist

Otter Tail Power Company has an opening for an Economic Development Specialist located preferably in Fergus Falls, MN.

This position requires a four-year degree in business or related field and a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in economic development. Must have knowledge and understanding of local, state, regional and national economic and community development programs and organizations. Proven track record working with community leaders. Understanding of private – public partnerships and experience in facilitating economic development transactions. Provide economic development leadership and strategy with regard to the creation of business and community economic growth. Must have the ability to handle multiple complex issues and a proven ability to be flexible with changes in prevailing economic conditions. Make quality decisions with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
