Public Works Superintendent

The City of Barnesville is seeking candidates for the position of Public Works Superintendent.   Major responsibilities include providing supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing and supervising the Streets and Parks Department.  Experience operating heavy equipment is also required as this job requires both hands-on work in the field as well as administrative responsibilities.  Desired minimum qualifications of 5 years experience in public works and 2 yrs supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.  Hiring range is $60,000 to $70,000 depending on qualifications.  Interested parties should submit a City of Barnesville job application to City Administrator Mike Rietz by 4:00 p.m. August 30, 2018.  Applications and job descriptions are available at City Hall, 102 Front St. N. or at www.barnesvillemn.com.
