Job Description: The level 1 EHR Application Analyst focuses on analysis of lower complexity customer requirements, implementation of tools that support those requirements, and support and maintenance of EHR applications in general. Successfully supports initiatives and projects and coordinate effectively with other staff. Is working to become a subject matter expert in assigned application and is working to develop a breadth of knowledge across applications. Works under direct supervision. Responsible for lower complexity issues and acting as a liaison between customer and support staff to resolve issues. Understands and adheres to the service provider/customer chain of accountability that ultimately leads to the patient. Is highly responsive to customers and shows an aptitude for the translation of customer requirements into feasible options within the application. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Education Qualifications:
Education and/or years experience required:

  • • Associates Degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or related field of study.

    OR

    • 2 years experience in Information Services, Business or Healthcare.

  • • Certification in Epic applications preferred.
