Typical Day in the Life

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with the experience and enthusiasm to help develop the next generation of Eide Bailly NetSuite Consultants and have a direct impact on the practice. This role is central to acclimating new hires to the NetSuite environment and product, supporting the continuing enablement of experienced employees on the NetSuite application, and teaching our customer engagement methodology and business processes.

The Enablement Lead is responsible for facilitating learning initiatives for the Consulting Practice. For new Professional Services employees, you will help oversee their preparation for entry into the consulting practice; including building the curriculum and leading the training and development for a team of university graduates participating in our Training and Skills Enhancement Program. Activities include conducting workshops, coordinating instructor led training and guiding them through structured learning activities defined within the various enablement programs. Additionally, you will be in a unique position to contribute to the growth and development of overall Consulting Enablement programs.

A typical day as a NetSuite Enablement Consulting might include:
  • Develop a Mentoring program between Senior and Junior consultants
  • Develop an Enablement Portal; including training materials and leading practices
  • Host Monthly Education Brown bags with new and existing Consultants, both on hard and soft Skills, including how to properly document client requirements
  • Manage college recruiting for NetSuite by developing application process that includes application and customer facing presentation skills via a 'showcase' where the college hire learns and demonstrates a workable NS solution to peers.
  • Build a transition plan for these new hires as it pertains to transitioning from their 'Training Phase' to their new manager within a specific silo (SP, AP, Strategic)
  • Build curriculum, training programs, and identify key metrics for success throughout the training and onboarding cycle
  • Drive program and participant success; investing in the success of the team and going above and beyond
  • Motivate individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, and creativity
  • Deliver new hire onboarding programs for the consulting practice across multiple roles and ensure new hires complete their enablement objectives
  • Provide continuous education on a periodic basis; utilizing existing content created by the GBU or by contributing to the design and development of new content
  • Conduct needs assessments and feedback efforts with key stakeholders
  • Support new initiatives within the various programs that will advance the goals of Enablement or the Consulting Practice
  • Work effectively and cross functionally across the organization; earning trust and building relationships throughout
  • Partner with the Consulting organization to identify and advocate for their specific enablement needs
  • Develop an understanding of PS responsibilities and functions to better identify requirements and create training activities
  • Make process recommendations to achieve operational excellence
  • Participate in the recruiting process for future Associate Consulting classes
  • Acquire and maintain an ongoing working knowledge of the capabilities of NetSuite

 

Who You Are
  • You have enablement and Training Curriculum Development Experience (Required)
  • You have NetSuite certifications and system knowledge (Required)
  • You have excellent people skills with the ability to work in a diverse, virtual, team environment
  • You have 2 -- 4 years of experience in consulting, preferably in enterprise ERP software implementations
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level
  • You have prior training and development experience; ideally in a consulting capacity
  • You take a proactive approach and have the desire to launch and successfully execute new initiatives
  • You are a strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage internal and external responsibilities simultaneously
  • You have successful resource allocation, timeline and project management experience
  • You have the ability to create and track metrics
  • You have outstanding communication skills; presentation, written, verbal, listening, and influencing

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
