The University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF), a member of the University of Wisconsin System, is located on the eastern edge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area in scenic west central Wisconsin. Year-round arts, cultural, and recreational activities and events are easily accessible from River Falls. The 6,100 undergraduate and graduate students at UWRF pursue degrees in four colleges: Education and Professional Studies; Arts and Sciences; Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; and Business and Economics.

Job Duties: This position is in Technical Services and reports to the Collection and Resource Management Librarian. The employee's primary responsibilities include ordering and receiving physical items, maintaining accurate order records, and corresponding with vendors. This position also is responsible for copy cataloging of all types of library materials, including books, serials, government documents, visual materials, maps, scores, and sound recordings using international cataloging standards; providing quality control for the shared University of Wisconsin System library management system; oversight of the processing and repairing of library materials; and the overseeing and training of cataloging student employees.

Preferred Qualifications
*Knowledge of the standard MARC bibliographic record.
*Knowledge of international cataloging standards, i.e. Resource Description and Access (RDA), Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules II (AACRII).
*Knowledge of library management systems.

The minimum starting salary is $16.00 per hour. The hourly rate may be negotiable based on experience and available budget.
