Job Details

This is a school term, Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours/day (7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. with a half hour duty free lunch), job Level 11 ($24.80-$25.16/hour) for Certified Interpreter or job level 5 ($19.03-19.39/hour) for Language Facilitator, position at the Community Services Center. The purpose of this position is to facilitate communication for a deaf/hard of hearing student(s) and assist the special education teacher(s) in the instruction of students. Applicants should be either certified or have a background and/or knowledge of hearing loss and American Sign Language.

To qualify, applicants must have two years of study at an institution of higher education (AA, AS, 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits). Applicants must submit transcripts with the completed application to be considered for the position.
