Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Research and Seed Plot Intern in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2019. If available, there will be the opportunity to begin as early as April. This intern will have the following responsibilities:
Education and Experience Required:
This intern will participate in the Agtegra Internship Program and be eligible for a scholarship of up to $750 upon successful completion.
- Assists with spring seed supply logistics
- Assists with planting and management of our research plots and trials including the following
- Fertilizer, planting, spraying, mowing, tilling, and plot signing
- Completes data collection of plots including pictures, stand counts, notes, and etc.
Education and Experience Required:
- Must currently be enrolled in a two or four year program
- Must be willing to travel
- Basic knowledge of farm equipment operations
- Commercial Driver's License and Commercial Applicators License are a plus
