Agtegra Cooperative is seeking an electrician intern in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2019.
Position Summary:
An Electrician will work with our grain, fertilizer, and agronomy facilities on electrical equipment and hazard monitoring. Will perform electrical repairs, inspections and new installations.

An Electrician will work with our grain, fertilizer, and agronomy facilities on electrical equipment and hazard monitoring. Will perform electrical repairs, inspections and new installations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses malfunctioning components, systems, and equipment using electrical testing tools and equipment.
- Inspects electrical components to identify defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure compliance with codes.
- Informs supervisors of potential hazards and recommends corrective solutions.
- Follows blueprints or prepares outlines to find out the location of equipment and wiring.
- Installs electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with electrical standards and code.
- Replaces or repairs wiring, fixtures, or components.
- Completes routine inspections of the material handling equipment hazard monitoring systems.
- Ensures compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Education and Experience Required:
- Must currently be enrolled in a two or four year college program
- Driver's License required.
